1st Day 5th Aug 08
Coming down straight from work by cab i reached the Kranji MRT station bus stop at 12pm. Feeling excited by the thought of going Tioman and yet the same time feeling the fatigue from work. Meiling arrived shortly and we boarded the 'Smiling Bus' straight to Larkin. Along the way, we took pictures of us at the bus stop after crossing the border.
After which we retook the bus straight to Larkin Bus Terminal where there are lots of buses going anywhere everywhere in Malaysia. We purchase a pair of bus tickets from, 'S&S international express', going to Mersing via Kota Tinggi costing us RM8.80 each for the 2.30pm timeslot.
Feeling hungry, Meiling suggested Roti Prata (a kind of flat flour pastry) which is called Roti Canai in Malaysia, i pointed out. However we could not find it and thus settled for a fastfood restaurant selling local delights such as Nasi Lemak and Chicken rice.
So feeling satisfied, we took the bus and arrived in Mersing at abt 5pm. We were approached immediately by local tour agents. They cautioned that the last ferry was about to leave at 5pm and they were able to arrange immediately the lodging at Tioman, the bus ride to the jetty (which was so freaking near!) and the return ferry trip. We were convinced and paid upfront of RM280 for the whole package ( SD room at Panuba Inn Resort and the 2-way ferry trip for two persons).
So off we go!
WHOooooOOOoo TIOMAN !!!

Reached our resort ... finally!!!
