
On the 1st of November 08, we went to Langkawi, our 1st stop in Malaysia for a short backpacking trip. It caused us nearly half a day on the travel coach. We set sailed from JB to a place named Alor Star and had to transfer via cab to Kuala Kedah for a ferry ride.
Yawns! So much effort... ( it was only after we left Langkawi that we calculated that if we had taken airplane instead, it would be faster and cheaper. -_-*)
Upon reaching the jetty of Langkawi, we were greeted by this huge welcome billboard -

Looking at the many affordable cars on rent for a daily low rate of RM50 onwards, we took the offer and got ourselves a Perodua Kancil to play around.

Kancil (max speed only a mere 110km/h on downhill)

We tried Go-Karting for 10 rounds

For a flat RM37 to zap around the race course, felt like F1 driver...
After completing the Go-Kart, we drove around in search of the beach and we changed upon the beach along Pantai Cenang which offers sea-activities such as para-sailing, jet-ski and banana boat.
